Pokemon Go Datamine Hints at Valentine’s Day Collection Challenge

Love is right around the corner, so is Niantic’s version of Valentine’s Day. As with every year, Niantic will be throwing a big event dedicated to Valentine’s Day, which will begin on February 8th, 2021.

During the next few days, there will be a Valentine’s Day-themed Cup, which is called Love Cup.

In this new Love Cup, players will be allowed to use pink or red Pokemon with a max of 1,500 CP. As with every Cup, Legendary and Mythical Pokemon are excluded, meaning that they are not allowed to be part of your team. The Love Cup will end on Monday, February 15th, 2021.

The Valentine’s Day event we have been waiting for will begin on February 14th, 2021 at 1:00 p.m., and until Thursday, February 18th, 2021, there will be few debuts of Pokemon, new avatar items, increased wild spawns of certain red or pink Pokemon, and surprisingly, Valentine’s Day Collection Challenge.

Valentine’s Day is a holiday beloved by many people, it is a day when people can express their love for each other. Niantic is trying their best to transfer that love onto the game with extra bonuses, more interesting wild spawns, and we guess that as the day is approaching, more and more will be revealed.
Let’s talk about Valentine’s Day Collection Challenge.

Thanks to the hardworking PokeMiners, we now know that indeed we will be having a fun, red, pink, loving Collection Challenge. PokeMiners have also found out that there will be a quest related to Luvdisc, and many other features/updates.
