Pokemon Go Valentine’s Day Celebration 2021 Featuring Munna, New Raid Bosses, Collection Challenge and More

It was published on the official Pokemon GO website how the Valentine’s Day event will look like. For starters, it will begin on Sunday, February 14th, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. and will end on Thursday, February 18th, 2021, at 8:00 p.m. local time.

As with most of the events, Niantic will release a new Pokemon and its evolution, and that Pokemon is Munna. To evolve this Pokemon into Musharna, you will need an Unova Stone. As Niantic said, you will have loads of encounters with Munna in the wild. Nidoran♀, There will be an increased chance of Nidoran♂, Plusle, Minun, Volbeat, Illumise, Luvdisc, and Munna to spawn in the wild during this event. Kirlia will be in the “spotlight,” which means that if you evolve this Pokemon during the Valentine’s Day event, you will get a Gardevoir or Gallade with the exclusive move Synchronoise. The list of which Pokemon will hatch from 5km Eggs has been updated and now we will have a chance to hatch Eevee, Cleffa, Igglybuff, Togepi, Luvdisc, Munna, Woobat, and Cottonee.

The Valentine’s Day Collection Challenge might be a challenge indeed, but we are sure that you will finish it in time. To complete the Challenge you must catch the following Pokemon: Nidoran♀, Nidoran♂, Espeon, Umbreon, Plusle, Minun, Volbeat, Illumise, Luvdisc, Latias, Latios, and Alomomola. The rewards will be 5 Silver Pinap Berries, one Lucky Egg, and one Egg Incubator. The Collection Challenge will be accompanied by event-exclusive Field Research that will reward us encounters with like Ralts, Volbeat, Illumise, Spinda with a heart pattern, and Alomomola, plus other rewards that were not stated.

We will also have new Raid Bosses during the Valentine’s Day event, and the following Pokemon will be available to battle:

• In One-star Raids, we will see Ralts, Volbeat, Illumise, Feebas, Munna, and Espurr.
• In Three-Star Raids, Togetic, Espeon, Umbreon, Gardevoir, Gallade, and Alomomola will be featured as Raid Bosses.
• In Five-Star Raids, Eon Pokemon will be joining us, or to make it simple, Latios and Latias.
  Mega Gyarados will be debuting in Mega Raids, along with Mega Pidgeot and Mega Ampharos.

Niantic has made sure to make us fall in love with how they are treating us, so in the spirit of LOVE, they have said that there will be a free one-time bundle with three Remote Raid Passes, event-exclusive stickers, an increased chance to become Lucky Friends with someone from your Friends List. They have also increased the chance of obtaining Berries from Gifts, and the trading range during this event will be increased to 40km.
