Besides big events, Pokemon GO has the Spotlight Hour and Raid Hour events. As the name says, these events have a duration of one hour and give us an increased opportunity to catch a certain Pokemon.
Niantic has announced that soon enough, besides Spotlight Hour and Raid Hour, we will be having a Bonus hour. It is said that it will be completely different, and will change every week. The first bonus hour will be on Thursday, March 4th, 2021.
Here are the first three Bonus hours, and what will they be based on:
- Thursday, March 4, 2021: GO Rocket Hour — Team GO Rocket Balloons will be appearing more frequently. Be on the lookout, Trainers!
- Thursday, March 11, 2021: Mega Bonus Hour: Candy — You’ll earn more Candy when you catch Pokémon that share a type with your active Mega-Evolved Pokémon.
- Thursday, March 18, 2021: Mega Raid Hour — Mega Raids will be happening more frequently.
