Pokemon Go Rivals’ Week Features

We are in the middle of The Season of Legends, and so far so good. We have had many debuts of new Pokemon, new Raid Bosses, and other cool features.

Soon, we will have another event to celebrate, called Rivals’ Week. This celebration will begin on Tuesday, April 13, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. and will end on Sunday, April 18th, 2021, at 8:00 p.m. local time. During these days, we will see Skrelp and Clauncher as the debut Pokemon, and Therian Forme Landorus will join us as the new five-star Raid Boss.

The two new debuts will be appearing more in the wild and as encounters after a completed Field Research task. Rivals’ Week will circulate around the Fighting-type Pokemon, as Hitmonchan, Hitmonlee, Makuhita, Meditite, Zangoose, Seviper and many more will be appearing more frequently in the wild.

The updated 5km Egg list will now include Machop, Tyrogue, Elekid, Magby, Makuhita, Meditite, Zangoose, and Seviper. In three-star and one-star raids, we can battle with Nidoqueen, Nidoking, Zangoose, and Seviper. As with every event, Niantic will release event-exclusive Field Research tasks which will grant us encounters with Pokemon are known for their rivalries.

Talking about rivalries, Team GO Rocket will appear more frequently in their balloons, and they might be taking over PokeStops too.

A new, fun feature that we will have during Rivals’ Week is the Global Challenge Arena. This feature will allow Trainers from all over the world to work together in Raid Battles which will later grant them a 2x Catch Stardust bonus during the whole event starting from April 13th to April 18th.
