Pokemon Go is one of the games where there are evens for all sorts of occasions. One might think that the events are often held in real-life settings, but that is not the case.
Ever since its release, there have been one or two events tops where people were gathering real-life. Niantic has opted for in-game events with a longer duration or both in-game and real-life where the focus is in-game bonuses.
The most interesting events for us are the Halloween and Community Day events. There are much more, and here is the full list of our likings:

My favorite event is all lol but I really like the rocket battle hours.
My personal favorite was this year’s Go Fest. Well that and Kanto Day. I darn near used up the last juice in my phone to get Zekrom on day 2 of Go Fest and I am also looking forward to getting shiny Mew when I get done with the Kanto masterwork research
My favorite event was when they had double interaction distance.

Community day because we get many Pokémon at once and they should put the wolf as community day
Put back the lengthened poke stops & gyms b/c some states & cities have kept us locked down due to the Wuhan Virus and we have VERY LIMITED movement STILL!!!! Either that or we can NO LONGER PLAY as well t is a waste of time & effort. Thank You
