Trainers, October is a month that every Pokemon Go player patiently waits to come. The spooky month is packed with debut Pokemon, many scary events, bonuses, and rewards.
The one event that everybody wants to participate in is the Halloween event. As we have seen in past events, there is usually a new Pokemon getting released through the event, a new Special Research quest, different Raid Bosses, new Avatar items, and cool bonuses.
We can all agree that Halloween 2020 was an event to remember, but the question is, will Halloween 2021 be better?
From what we currently know, the Pokemon Go Halloween event will run from October 15th, 2021, to Sunday, October 31st, 2021. During these days, new costumed Pokemon will be appearing in the wild and a remarkable Halloween-themed Special Research story will be going live.
Thanks to our beloved Pokemon Go dataminers, we now know that there is a possible debut of Phantump and Trevenant, as they were mentioned in the Halloween 2021 texts.
“I quickly realized that this was a Trevenant, the Elder Tree Pokémon, and it was assessing whether I was friend or foe! After all, it will trap people who harm the forest, so they can never leave. It must have sensed that I was just there for research because it turned back around and ignored me. Its attention then returning to the many smaller Phantump that were surrounding its feet.”
