Inkay and Malamar are dual-type Dark/Psychic Pokemon from Gen 6, first seen in Pokemon Go as part of the Psychic Spectacular 2021 event. This event runs from September 8, 2021, to September 13, 2021.

First thing first, the new Gen 6 Pokemon Inkay can be found in the wild, as a snapshot encounter, which is once per day. Next, you can get Inkay when completing a specific Field Research task (Evolve one Inkay to get Inkay), or in one-star Raids. Inkay is a one-star Raid Boss during the event, and to get one you must battle and beat it.
