We’re all hyped for the release of Battlefield 2042 and its multiple characteristic features that will release with the game. Early Access players will have a slight advantage over others as they will be able to head dive in the game slightly earlier, while the others will have to wait for its official release time. Nevertheless, the preload option and sizes remain the same for everyone.

The franchise is about to get expanded with one h*** of a title with a near-future setting, seemingly reworked and slightly different than its predecessors. All those who tried the open beta resemble Call of Duty players, while others say it’s also very similar to Apex Legends in terms of gadgets and stuff. But let’s see its exact release time, preload availability, and size.

Battlefield 2042 Preload Times and Sizes

Below you can find the release time of Battlefield 2042 on multiple platforms, PC, Xbox, and PlayStation. The download size varies, and it’s somewhere around 50-65 GB.

PC Preload and size

  • The Battlefield 2042 release on PC is slated for November 19 at 10 am PT or 1 pm ET with a size of around 60GB. The preload will start tomorrow, November 10,

Xbox preload and size

  • Xbox’s preload started on November 10, and you can download the game at the time of this writing. The game size on the X/S version is around 51 GB, while the Xbox One is approximately 27 GB.

PlayStation preload and size

  • Battlefield 2042 preload starts on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 on November 10, and the game size is supposed to be around 42 GB without the additional assets.
