Pokemon Air Adventures Event Coming This May with Special Appearance

If you still remember, last year the Pokemon GO Community was supposed to enjoy the Pokemon Air Adventures collaboration event. However, due to reasons related to the pandemic, the Pokemon Air Adventures event got cancelled. Happily enough, Niantic has reported that the collaboration event will be back this May.

Beginning March 19th, 2022, Pikachu wearing an Okinawa Kariyushi shirt will make its special appearances in the wild. Corsola and its Shiny form will tag along, meaning that they both will appear more frequently in the wild. Trainers in Okinawa during the time of the event are going to see new PokeStops emerge at Poke Lids and other tourist sites located in Okinawa. These special PokeStops will have gifts that contain one-of-a-kind limited Postcard illustrations (these goodies will be available only at these PokeStops).

Regarding the collaboration event, it will begin on May 3rd, 2022, and will end on May 8th, 2022. As opposed to the PokeStop rewards, the event will be available to Trainers from all over the world. During these few days, players in Okinawa will have the unique chance of encountering Flying Pikachu with differently colored balloons.

Additionally, from May 7th to May 8th, 2022, there will be a special ticketed event in Okinawa, for which more information will come in the upcoming days.

Are you excited about the event? What do you expect from it?
