Battlestate Games Finally Teases “Escape From Tarkov Arena”

As stated before, Escape From Tarkov Arena is expected to release with the next wipe.

After the highly anticipated premiere on YouTube, we finally have an idea of what’s coming next. On Friday, via a YouTube premiere named “Death in the Air,” Battlestate Games confirmed the most significant release in the history of Escape From Tarkov. That is Escape From Tarkov Arena which should convey a team-based, tactical-shooter game mode. Honestly speaking, I am happy that I guessed it before the premiere started, 1-0 for me, BSG. Escape From Tarkov Arena is expected to enter its closed testing in autumn 2022.

Escape From Tarkov Arena Release Date, Availability and Other Details

As stated before by the COO of Battlestate Games, Nikita Buyanov, Escape From Tarkov Arena is supposed to release throughout this year. Presumably, with the start of the next wipe. And believe it or not, the next wipe is coming soon, even if multiple indicators have pointed towards its postponement. Understandingly, there have been tons of core updates related to performance over the past period, and one of the most important ones associated with Arena Mode is the Smoother Movement.

Details remain scarce. The teaser did not reveal if Escape From Tarkov Arena would come as a standalone product, but it’s safe to guess that owners of the Edge of Darkness (EOD) edition would get it for free. Until further notice, we can just speculate what’s going to happen.

Update:

The game will feature various PvP and PvE game modes, ratings, weapon, gear unlocks and unique features for owners of the main Escape from Tarkov game, such as the ability to play as your main profile character. For owners of the EoD pack, Arena will be available for free as DLC. For all other versions of EFT, the Arena will be paid and, you can also purchase the Arena separately without buying the main game.

Game Mode Details

Escape from Tarkov Arena is a standalone game project – a session-based multiplayer first-person shooter for PC with all the known and beloved hardcore game mechanics of EFT.

After a series of new cosmetic “streamer” items published on its official Twitter, it was somewhat expected to see that we’re nearing a wipe. It’s been a pleasure to be a part of Escape From Tarkov during the first half of 2022, just like any year or any wipe before. As the game grows, we grow with it, and the proof of that is countless hours spent within the game. Stay tuned!

That is to discover secrets within the gaming industry, create guides for all the games I play, and provide you with some important news. Oh, yeah, I post tons of patch notes too. At the time, I play everything that seems reasonable to play, make content about it and help gamers to the best of my abilities. P.S. Last time I counted how many hours I've spent in video games turned out to be 13+ years. And that was a long time ago too. Almost 24/7 in front of PC.
