Pokemon Go A Cosmic Companion Special Research Quest Tasks & Rewards

Trainers, the A Cosmic Companion Special Research was released as part of the Season of Light. The A Cosmic Companion Research quest is available to claim from September 1, 2022, to December 1, 2022, at 9:59 AM local time. This Research has different parts and Niantic and Pokemon Go announced that new parts of the Special Research will unlock over the course of the Season.

A Cosmic Companion Research has ten steps, and each stage has different tasks, rewards, and Pokemon encounters. Niantic and Pokemon Go released seven stages so far, which means there are three more stages to be released during the Season of Light.

A Cosmic Companion Stage 1/10

• Catch 15 Pokemon: x5 Razz Berry
• Make 10 Curveball Throws: Staryu Encounter
• Catch 15 Psychic-type Pokemon: x5 Pinap Berry
• Rewards: Cosmog Encounter, 1000 XP, x500 Stardust

A Cosmic Companion Stage 2/10

• Give your buddy 3 treats: Woobat Encounter
• Earn 10 Candies walking with your buddy: Staryu Encounter
• Catch 15 Psychic-type Pokemon: Munna Encounter
• Rewards: x1 Poffin, 2000 XP, x500 Stardust

A Cosmic Companion Stage 3/10

• Earn 15 hearts with your buddy: Ralts Encounter
• Send 10 Gifts to friends: Staryu Encounter
• Catch 20 different species of Pokemon: x25 Pokeball
• Rewards: x5 Pinap Berry, 3000 XP, x1000 Stardust

• Catch 1 Pokemon: 789 XP
• Rewards: 25 Cosmog Candy, 3000 XP, and 1000 Stardust

• Complete 5 Field Research tasks: Baltoy
• Power up Pokemon 10 times: Staryu
• Evolve a Cosmog: 1000 Stardust
• Rewards: 25 Cosmog Candy, 1000 XP, and 750 XP

A Cosmic Companion Stage 6/10

• Complete 10 Field Research tasks: Elgyem
• Power up Pokemon 10 times: Staryu
• Walk 5km: Girafarig
• Rewards: 25 Cosmog Candy, 2000 XP, and 750 Stardust

A Cosmic Companion Stage 7/10

• Earn 15 Hearts with your Buddy: Kirlia
• Hatch an Egg: Staryu
• Catch 20 different species of Pokemon: 25 Great Ball
• Rewards: 10 PokeBall, 3000 XP, and 1500 Stardust

A Cosmic Companion Stage 8/10

As we said above, the A Cosmic Companion Research quest has ten steps, but only seven are available at the moment. Make sure to claim the Special Research before December 1, 2022.
