Trainers, the Test Your Mettle event has started in Pokemon Go and you can now complete the new Timed Research and the new Field Research tasks and earn cool rewards such as Aggron Mega Energy, Togemaru, and Aron.

The Test Your Mettle Timed Research brings a new set of tasks, and when completed players can earn different rewards. The tasks are focusing on catching Steel-type Pokemon, making Nice, Great, and Curveball throws, and more. The tasks are not that hard and you can complete the Timed Research in no time.

That said, let’s take a look at the list of all tasks and rewards for the Test Your Mettle Timed Research quest. Please have in mind that there are two different stages one must complete.

Catch 25 Steel-type Pokemon: 25 PokeBall
Walk 2km: Onix
Make 15 Nice Throws: 20 GreatBall
Make 10 Great Throws: 10 UltraBall
Make 5 Curveball Throws: 10 Pinap Berry
Use 10 Berries to help catch Pokemon: 25 Mega Steelix Energy
Rewards: Magnetic Lure, 2500 XP, and Togedemaru

Make 15 Great Curveball Throws: 3 Golden Razz Berry
Evolve 3 Steel-type Pokemon: 20 GreatBall

Take snapshots of 5 different wild Steel-type Pokemon: 1000 Stardust
Rewards: 50 Aron Candy, 25 Mega Aggron Energy, and Aron

The Test Your Mettle event runs from September 16, 2022, to September 21, 2022, so make sure to participate and enjoy all features and bonuses. Who knows, you might end up catching Shiny Mega Aggron.
