Pokemon Go Removes “1/2 Distance to Earn Candy with Your Buddy” Bonus During Sustainability Week 2023
Trainers, the Sustainability Week 2023 event is underway, but you won’t be able to enjoy the “1/2 distance to earn Candy with your Buddy Pokemon” bonus.
Niantic and Pokemon Go revealed all the details about the ongoing Sustainability Week 2023 event on April 14. According to their infographic, there should be a “1/2 distance to earn Candy with your Buddy Pokemon” bonus. you may ask why? Well, Niantic and Pokemon Go decided to remove the bonus at the last minute.
Trainers, we’d like to clarify that there is an error with our infographic for the Sustainability Week event bonuses. The stated “1/2 distance to earn Candy with your Buddy Pokémon” will not be available as a bonus for this event.

This is their second mistake for this event. First, they make a mistake with the 7 km Eggs, and now they removed the 1/2 distance to earn Candy with your Buddy Pokemon bonus. Players are not happy at all, as they canceled the one bonus that benefits the Trainers most.
