Pokemon Go Reminder: Regidrago Global Makeup Event This Saturday

Niantic has had its fair share of disastrous events, but they have (nearly) always made up for them. Not a good sight to see a pre-planned event going up in flames, but all we can do is hope the makeup event (if there is any) happens without problems.

There is an event that was a disaster from the very start, and luckily, Niantic immediately said that they will be hosting a makeup event. That makeup event is the Regidrago Global Makeup event serving as a replacement for the one that happened back in March.

Happening on Saturday, May 13th, 2023, Trainers will be able to meet face-to-face with Regidrago and enjoy twoTimed Research, one of which was supposed to start on the Elite Raid Days. Some completed it, but listen to this: you will all have another chance at getting the Timed Research and finishing it. The two exclusive Timed Researches will be available from 11:00 a.m. local time to 6:00 p.m. local time on Saturday.

Regidrago will be appearing at the following hours in Elite Raids (on Saturday, May 13th, 2023):

  • 11:00 a.m. local time
  • 2:00 p.m. local time
  • 5:00 p.m. local time

Keep in mind that Elite Raids are in-person Raids, and these can’t be accessed with a Remote Raid Pass. The Pokemon that is featured as an Elite Raid Boss will be available for a battle for 30 minutes.

Last but not least, since the ones that live in the GMT+13 Time Zone were affected by Niantic’s terrible mistake, these ones will get a “special treatment” (the irony), where Niantic will reward them a special bundle containing three Premium Battle passes and two Silver Pinap Berries. The bundle will be available from May 12th, 11:00 a.m. local time until May 13th, 6:00 p.m. local time.
