Shadow Mewtwo is currently the most feared Pokemon in Pokemon Go. Especially because of the fact that it is a Shadow Pokemon, and can become quite angry during a Shadow Raid.
Many Trainers are wondering which Pokemon to use in a Shadow Raid against Shadow Mewtwo, a new type of Raid that is debuting this weekend (May 27th, 2023, until May 28th, 2023). But do not worry, fellow Pokemon players are here to the rescue.
A post has appeared on Reddit, where a user going by the name r/Teban54 explains in detail what should Trainers use in a battle against Shadow Mewtwo. What they are saying is that the most efficient Pokemon against Shadow Mewtwo is a Houndoom with Snarl/Foul Play moveset. However, if Shadow Mewtwo comes with a Focus Blast move, then you can use Hydreigon and Changelure. Shadow Tyranitar, Shadow Weavile and Gholdengo are also acceptable choices against Shadow Mewtwo.
Shadow Raids are extremely difficult, especially because the Shadow Raid Boss becomes enraged as time goes by, making it even more difficult to defeat. Keep in mind that these Shadow Raids can only be done in person, so it is crucial to come up with the right counters.

To beat Shadow Mewtwo, you would need at least six of these Pokemon in your team, and choose wisely. Also, Primal Kyogre is also a good Pokemon to use, and it also gives a 10% boost to all Trainers that are present in the Shadow Raid.
