Pokemon Go Noxious Swamp Timed Research Quest

The Noxious Swamp event is packed with excitement, featuring special Timed Research, increased Team Go Rocket encounters, and the debut of Shiny Skrelp. Let’s explore what this means for Pokémon Go players.

From August 19, 2023, to August 22, 2023, all Trainers can dive into free Timed Research centered around raiding. Completion grants encounters with Poison- and Dragon-type Pokémon, including Jangmo-o.

Rewards and Encounters:

  • Poison-type Pokémon
  • Dragon-type Pokémon
  • The sought-after Jangmo-o

Expiration Alert: Tasks and rewards disappear on Tuesday, August 22, 2023, at 8:00 p.m. local time.

Team Go Rocket balloons are appearing more frequently during the Noxious Swamp event. This means more chances to battle Team Go Rocket leaders and save Shadow Pokémon. Gear up for these intense battles and show Team Go Rocket who’s boss.

A highlight of this event, Shiny Skrelp is making its Pokémon Go debut. You can find this shimmering creature both in the wild and as a Field Research task encounter. With its unique look and allure, Shiny Skrelp is sure to become a prized addition to your collection

Noxious Swamp Timed Research

  • Power up Pokemon 15 times: Skrelp (can be shiny)
  • Battle in 3 Raids: Alolan Grimer
  • Use 15 Supereffecive Charged Attacks: Trapinch
  • Win 2 Raids Using a Team of All Unique Species: Drudiggon
  • Win a level 3 Raid using only Pokemon with 2500 CP or less: Hisuian Qwilfish
  • Rewards: Jangmo-o, 50 Mega Salamance, and 50 Mega Spectile Energy
