Recently, Devolver Digital, a video game publishing company announced a series of delays, and The Plucky Squire is one of the games that will not be coming out this year.
As announced by Devolver Digital during their Devolver Delayed, instead of the scheduled 2023 release, the game titled The Plucky Squire will be postponed to 2024. The game is supposed to become available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch and PC (via Steam).
In The Plucky Squire, players will have the chance to follow Jot and his friends on the discovery of a 3D world. The storybook characters encounter a lot of obstacles, and one of the main problems is Humgrump, a character that turns into a villain and kicks Jot out of the story pages. Jot’s main mission is to return to the book and restore its happy ending, as well as save his friends from the dark forces.
