For some weird reason, the Publisher of Human Fall Flat 2, Devolver Digital has decided to delay Human Fall Flat 2 to 2026. The sequel, which was supposed to be much more interesting and had a release slated for 2025, is now facing difficulties. This was announced during Devolver Digital’s latest earnings report on Thursday.

Human Fall Flat 2, the anticipated sequel to the global hit, will not now be released in 2025. We remain very excited about this title which we believe will set us up for an even stronger 2026.

Human Fall Flat is developed by No Brake Games, and was first released in 2016. Due to its quirky gameplay elements and mechanics which created funny moments, it caught the attention of some of the best content creators, for which the game found its way in the hearts of others as well.

The original game had shipped over 50 million copies around the world, on PC, Console and Mobile, which speaks for its success alone. After the announcement at Devolver Direct 2023, many were excited about its sequel, Human Fall Flat 2, for today to find out that it’s being delayed to 2026.

As per the developer, Human Fall Flat 2 should include tons of new levels and character customization options, including an even more exciting physics. As a puzzler, there will be some wild puzzles to solve, new toys and devices for players to have fun with, and more. Aside from that, there will be better visuals, music and other bits and pieces.

I am ANGE1K. I started playing video games a long time ago. In a blink of an eye, I became a hardcore gamer. A couple of years later, I traversed to the professional Counter-Strike 1.6 scene. After the competitive ERA, I managed to find the gaming industry amusing and started working on FGR. 8 years after founding FGR, my mission remains the same. That is to discover secrets within the gaming industry, create guides for all the games I play, and provide you with some important news. Oh, yeah, I post tons of patch notes too. At the time, I play everything that seems reasonable to play, make content about it and help gamers to the best of my abilities. P.S. Last time I counted how many hours I've spent in video games turned out to be 13+ years. And that was a long time ago too. Almost 24/7 in front of PC.
