Update: Battlefield 2042 5.3.1 is here, patch notes and more

EA Dice has released UPDATE #5.3.1 for Battlefield 2042 next week. Designed to enhance gameplay, the update emphasizes key improvements to address existing issues.

Dice has confirmed that the update will not cause any downtime. Players might only need to restart their game to incorporate the latest changes. The patch notes can be found below:

Changes in BF2042 UPDATE #5.3.1

  • Resolved an issue that resulted in the Specialist model disappearing if switched from the Battle Pass tab to the Classes tab.
  • Resolved an issue that resulted in players spawning out of bounds on Shutdown on Stranded.
  • Resolved an issue that restricted SOFLAM successfully counting towards Weekly Missions that required enemies to be spotted with Recon Gadgets.
  • Increased Helicopter TOW Replenishment Rate from 15 to 22 seconds.
