Nintendo Direct Still On Track for September, Confirms Notable Leaker

Despite the recent unveiling of Super Mario Bros. Wonder Direct, insiders insist that Nintendo will follow its yearly tradition of a general Direct presentation this September.

After the announcement of Super Mario Bros. Wonder Direct, speculation swirled about whether Nintendo would hold its usual September Direct presentation. However, according to prominent leaker NateTheHate, the company has no intention of breaking its annual September tradition.

Nintendo has consistently rolled out a Direct presentation every September for the past decade, except in 2015. Given this history, it was already widely expected that the gaming giant would also continue its pattern in 2023.

Responding to queries on Twitter, NateTheHate reassured fans that the much-anticipated Nintendo Direct is set to happen “soon-ish.” In a follow-up tweet, he also dispelled rumors that Super Mario Bros. Wonder Direct would replace the general Direct presentation. “One doesn’t negate the other,” he tweeted.

Although Nintendo has yet to confirm the date for the September Direct, the consistent schedule of the past years and insider confirmations have fans eagerly awaiting the official announcement.
