UK Physical Sales Chart: Assassin’s Creed Mirage Debuts Strongly, EA Sports FC 24 Holds the Top Spot

The UK physical sales chart for the week ending on October 7th reveals some exciting movements. Assassin’s Creed Mirage had a strong start, coming in second place right out of the gate. However, it couldn’t dethrone EA Sports FC 24, which remains in the top spot despite a significant drop in sales (via GamesIndustry).

Even with a 48% decline in sales, EA Sports FC 24 holds its number one position firmly. Given its status as the second biggest physical release in the UK this year, with 11.3 million users since launch, its strong standing is expected.

Making its debut, Assassin’s Creed Mirage entered the charts at an impressive second place. Meanwhile, Detective Pikachu Returns, another new entry this week, landed in third place despite getting mixed reviews.

After the competitive ERA, I managed to find the gaming industry amusing and started working on FGR. 8 years after founding FGR, my mission remains the same. That is to discover secrets within the gaming industry, create guides for all the games I play, and provide you with some important news. Oh, yeah, I post tons of patch notes too. At the time, I play everything that seems reasonable to play, make content about it and help gamers to the best of my abilities. P.S. Last time I counted how many hours I've spent in video games turned out to be 13+ years. And that was a long time ago too. Almost 24/7 in front of PC.
