Hisuian Samurott Raid Day is Broken, Pokémon GO players Losing Remote Raid Passes and Shiny Hisuain Samurott

Trainers, the Timeless Travels Season in Pokémon GO is off to a rocky start, and if the first event is anything to go by, we’re in for a wild ride. The Hisuian Samurott Raid Day was supposed to be a highlight, but it turned out to be a series of misadventures.

The Pokémon GO community was all geared up for the Hisuain Samurott Raid Day, with players tidying up their friends’ lists and stacking up Raid and Remote Raid Passes. However, Niantic’s servers had other plans. The day was riddled with glitches, the Friends list not loading, players being booted out mid-raid, and the ultimate heartbreak, losing a shiny Samurott mid-encounter.

FleeceKing, one of the top Pokémon GO players and content creators, was among those who felt the sting of these issues. He shared his frustration, highlighting the pain of having to apologize to his stream viewers for the constant game crashes and event mishaps. Many members of the community share his disappointment and feel the same way.

People lost raid passes, while having other premium items on like lucky eggs and star pieces. I also lost a shiny Samurott, it kicked me out of the encounter and I couldn’t get back into my game for 30 minutes after. And your compensation is… an announcement for an extra hour, 40 minutes into the extra hour?

I’m tired of constantly being an Australian Guinea pig for these new events, especially with hundreds of people tuning into my streams and watching it all take place, and feeling I need to apologize for all the mess happening. It’s embarrassing, incredibly frustrating and there’s no excuse for it to keep happening 7 years into this game. Do better.”

Losing a shiny Pokémon is a tough pill to swallow, but what’s even more frustrating is losing Remote Raid Passes and other valuable items. It’s high time Niantic steps up their game. Players who’ve lost their Remote Raid Passes, or other in-game items, deserve proper compensation, and they deserve it now. Pokémon GO is a journey we all cherish, but these hiccups are turning it into a bumpy ride.
