Pokémon GO January 2024 Community Day featuring Rowlet

Community Days in Pokémon GO are not just events, they’re special opportunities for Trainers to catch a specific Pokémon that appears more frequently for a limited time. These Pokémon are often rare or uncommon, making Community Days an ideal time to catch as many as you can.

On Community Days, the spotlight is on a featured Pokémon that, when evolved during the event or up to five hours after it ends, learns an exclusive Attack. This special Attack is unique to the event and cannot be learned in regular gameplay, although it will be available through Elite TMs afterward.

Community Days also bring a host of additional bonuses. In the past, Trainers have enjoyed perks like:

  • Increased Stardust rewards for catching Pokémon.
  • More Catch XP, making it a perfect time to level up.
  • Lure Modules that last longer, attracting more Pokémon to PokéStops.
  • Reduced distance required to hatch Eggs.

Niantic has confirmed that Community Days will continue in 2024, and the first one is already on the calendar. Mark your calendars for January 6, 2024, because it’s going to be all about Rowlet. It turns out those rumors were spot on.

Community Days are a core part of the Pokémon GO experience, offering unique encounters and rewards. Mark the dates, and make sure to enjoy the first Community Day of 2024.
