Apex Koraidon moves added to Pokémon GO, Hinting at possible release

Trainers, it’s been a while since we’ve seen an Apex Pokémon in Pokémon GO, but it looks like things are about to change. Apex Koraidon and other Pokémon have received updates to their moves in the Pokémon GO GM file, which means Niantic and Pokémon GO are getting ready to release a new wave of Pokémon very soon.

Niantic and Pokémon GO introduced the first Apex Shadow Pokémon back in 2022, Apex Shadow Lugia, and Apex Shadow Ho-Oh, which were available through completing the Pokémon GO Tour Johto Masterwork Research. This year’s Sinnoh Tour also features Masterwork Research, but it’s set to award Shiny Shaymin, as confirmed by Niantic and Pokémon GO.

With no new Apex Pokémon announced for this event, we’re left wondering about the next Apex release.

Apex Koraidon Moves Update

Here are the updated moves for Apex Koraidon:

  • Fast Moves: Rock Smash, Dragon Tail
  • Charge Moves: Giga Impact, Dragon Claw, Close Combat, Outrage

Koraidon has five different forms in the Paldea region. The forms are Limited Build, Sprinting Build, Swimming Build, Gliding Build, and Apex Build.

As January 2024 is full of events, the timing of Apex Koraidon’s update to its moves in the GM file suggests that it could make its debut soon.
