Pokemon Go Raid Hour January 31, 2024 featuring Mega Latias
It is time again for one of our favorite events in Pokemon Go, and the event in question is Raid Hour.
Raid Hours in Pokemon Go gives a unique opportunity to catch a Pokemon that is quite rare to see in the game, as well as hunt for the one with perfect stats, and stack up on Candy. Every Wednesday, for one hour exactly, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. local time, every eligible Gym in Pokemon Go hosts Raid Battles with the chosen Pokemon.
For January 31, 2024, Trainers will have the chance to battle with Mega Latias, in Mega Raid Battles. This birdlike Pokemon is part of the Eon Duo, alongside Latios, and it is a Pokemon that is worth having in your PokeDex, as well as in your Battle teams.
During this Raid Hour, if you are lucky enough, you can encounter a Shiny Latias, which is even better, if you ask us. Available in its Mega form, Mega Latias has a different appearance than its basic form, and all of its red parts turn into purple. Its wings are bigger and attached to its arms, and it is believed that Mega Latias is the fastest Pokemon, making it more agile.
However, to make your journey of catching Mega Latias easier, we have decided to share a list of Mega Latias weaknesses and best counters. Make sure to use them to defeat Mega Latias in a Mega Raid.
