Pokemon Go FleeceKing Jokes About Niantic Not ‘Planting’ Shinies, Lands Shiny Drampa Instantly
Trainers, the world-famous Pokemon Go content creator and the first Pokemon Go player to be in the Guinness Book of World Records shared an interesting video on X. In the video, the player laughs off the suggestion that Niantic sponsors him or ‘plants’ Shiny Pokemon on his account, only to encounter a Shiny Drampa moments later.
FleeceKing often goes live, and during his latest stream, some of his Pokemon Go followers speculated that he might be directly affiliated with and sponsored by Niantic because he’s often among the first to report a new Shiny catch. Well, how would one know if they pressed the Shiny button and released the new Shiny Pokemon if nobody reported it?
It’s more than clear that Niantic sponsors some Pokemon Go content creators, and the community shouldn’t have anything against that. But, let’s focus on the video and the timing of when Niantic ‘planted’ the Shiny Pokemon.
According to some people on Twitter, I have a secret close relationship with Niantic and they plant shinies on my account, and I’m secretly sponsored 🤔
Had that rant today on stream then this happens lmaooo 😂😂😂 the timing was just hilarious. Enjoy! #PokemonGo pic.twitter.com/ddPDNK63mJ

Perfect timing, a coincidence, or did Niantic really “plant” that Shiny Pokemon on his account? As long as we all have fun, it doesn’t matter, right?
FleecKing is the first Pokemon Go player to reach level 50 in the game. With this achievement, he got his place in the Guinness Book of Records.
