Leader Arlo, Cliff, Sierra, and Giovanni Pokemon Go World of Wonders: Taken Over Guide, Best Counters and Moves

Trainers, the World of Wonders: Taken Over event in Pokemon Go has begun, and Team Go Rocket Leaders Arlo, Cliff, and Sierra are back, this time with new Shadow Pokemon. They’re back in full force, with new Shadow Pokemon, determined to conquer our world and claim all Pokemon for themselves.

Team Go Rocket Leaders Arlo, Cliff, Sierra, and Giovanni are showing up more often in Pokemon Go and now is the time to show them who’s boss and send them back where they came from.

As we already mentioned, they changed their Shadow Pokemon lineups and they are a bit stronger than before. But this is nothing we can’t manage, right? They will resist, they already tricked their Shadow Pokemon, but I believe we can defeat them and save our Pokemon. Can we? Oh, yes we can!

The Team Go Rocket consists of Grunts, Leaders, and the Boss, and should go in that order. You can find them in PokeStops and Rocket Balloons.

So first you have to face the Grunts. By defeating these Grunts you can earn a Mysterious Component.

After defeating six TGR Grunts, and collecting six Mysterious Components, you will then be able to make a Rocket Radar, which will reveal the whereabouts of Team Go Rocket Leaders Arlo, Cliff, and Sierra.

Note that Leaders do not appear 24/7. They have their timeline, and expect them at PokeStops from 6 am to 10 pm every day. As we said, they also appear in Rocket Balloons, which spawn above the Trainer in the Map View. These balloons appear more frequently during the Team Go Rocket Takeover event, and according to reports, we will have a chance to see them every 3 hours, starting at 12 AM.

Now, to get to Giovannи, we must have the Super Rocket Radar. To get the Super Rocket Radar, we must complete the Team Go Rocket Special Research. The new ‘It’s a Rocket World’ Special Research gives you the Super Rocket Radar as one of the rewards, so make sure to complete it if you want to face Giovanni and Shadow Groudon.

That’s a total of 8 balloons per day.

Now that you are familiar with Team Go Rocket, and have all the instructions, let’s see what Shadow Pokemon they use. Also, we listed the best counters and moves, so feel free to learn more below.
