Pokemon Go April 2024 Community Day Classic featuring Bagon and Special Research Story
My birthday month is going to be amazing, and I will be enjoying April with my favorite Pokemon, Bagon.
The Rock Head Pokemon known as Bagon is officially announced to be a Community Day Classic Pokemon in April 2024, and to be honest, this is a great choice coming from Niantic. It evolves into Shelgon, which later evolves into Salamence.
First and foremost, Bagon and Shiny Bagon will be appearing more in the wild on April 7, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time during the April 2024 Community Day Classic event. If you happen to evolve Shelgon into Salamence during the event or two hours afterwards, you will get a Salamence that knows the Charged Attack Outrage. This attack has 110 power in Trainer Battles, Gyms and Raids.
As always, there is going to be a Community Day Special Research Story available to Trainers for $1. We don’t have much information right now, but we do know that the tickets for the Bagon Community Day Classic-exclusive Special Research Story will be available soon.
April 2024 Community Day Classic Bagon event bonuses
- 3x XP for catching Pokemon
- Lure Modules activated during the event will last for three hours
- Incense (excluding Daily Adventure Incense) activated during the event will last for three hours
- Take a few snapshots during Community Day for a surprise
There will be Community Day Classic-themed Field Research, where Bagon will be featured as a reward, as well as Stardust and Great Balls. There will also be some PokeStop Showcases during the Bagon Community Day Classic.
To celebrate Bagon Community Day Classic, there will be a Pokemon Go Web Store Community Day Bundle, where Trainers can get 120 Ultra Balls, 15 Silver Pinap Berries, six Incubators and one Incense for $9.99, and there will be two in-game event bundles.

- 1,350 PokeCoins – 50 Ultra Balls, five Super Incubators, one Elite Charged TM and five Lucky Eggs
