Pokemon Go Shadow Mewtwo Raid Guide, Shiny Odds Report

A certain Pokemon that we have been loving since the dawn of time, the one created from horrific experiments done by humans, is coming back in Pokemon Go. Not in the form we are used to, but in the form that makes it way scarier than before.

When talking about Mewtwo, I couldn’t help but think about its origin. The scientific experiments that us, the human race, did based on Mew, is absolutely disastrous. However, once Mewtwo was born, all humans started to love it, no matter its violent nature. Well, in Pokemon Go, Mewtwo is proven to be one of the most-seeked Pokemon by Trainers. Especially its Shadow form, Shadow Mewtwo. Luckily for us all, Shadow Mewtwo is returning in Pokemon Go through Shadow Raids. This is the moment that I have been waiting for literally months and months.

As being said, Shadow Mewtwo is coming back to Shadow Raids from March 30, 2024, to March 31, 2024, local time. Plus, you might encounter a Shiny Shadow Mewtwo, which is even better, but your chances of actually encountering Shiny Shadow Mewtwo are 1 in 20, or roughly 5%. This is not low, but it is not high enough.

Since this is a Five-Star Shadow Raid and it is going to be up against a really, really cool Raid Boss, I think that it is best to come prepared. I mean really prepared. So why not see what are the best counters and moves against Shadow Mewtwo?

Pokemon Go Shadow Mewtwo best counters and moves

  • Mega Tyranitar – Bite and Brutal Swing
  • Mega Gengar – Shadow Claw and Shadow Ball
  • Mega Banette – Shadow Claw and Shadow Ball
  • Shadow Tyranitar – Bite and Brutal Swing
  • Tyranitar – Bite and Brutal Swing

Keep in mind that it takes more than 3 Trainers to defeat Shadow Mewtwo. My advice is to gather with your friends, and create the best Pokemon team you can in order to get to the last step, which is an encounter with Shadow Mewtwo. Who knows, you might actually get a Shiny Shadow Mewtwo.

Which Pokemon are you going to use? Tell us in the comments below.
