Pokemon Go Holiday Season 2019, Christmas and New Year Event Expectations

Pokemon Go’s Christmas Holiday event is just around the corner, and like every previous Christmas and New Year Holiday event in Pokemon Go, we expect to see increased spawn rate of Water and Ice Type Pokemon, new Gen 5 Pokemon, new cool bonuses and our best friend Santa Hat Pikachu. Fingers crossed for Shiny Delibird.

Since the launch of the game, we’ve seen three Holiday events in the game and now it’s the perfect time to get ready for the fourth and many more to come.

Just like the previous Christmas Holiday events, we expect to see two or more pair events, which will overlap the course of two-three weeks.

Please have in mind that the following is just a tease and a hint, 0% confirmed and 0% a leak!

  1. Shadow shiny Pokémon are to time consuming. That needs to be reworked. Either increase shiny ratio or make it less time consuming. Doing 6 TR stops, replenishing your revives and potions then beating …. in hopes of getting a shiny is ridiculous. I quit after 50+ Attempts at shiny meowth. Many others quit sooner.
