Pokemon Go January 2022 Community Day featuring Spheal and Bulbasaur

Trainers, January 2022 brings two Community Day events in Pokemon Go. The first Community Day event in 2022 is set to go live on January 16 featuring Spheal, and the second, Community Day Classic, is scheduled for January 22, featuring Bulbasaur.

The next Community Day event in Pokemon Go is set to go live on January 16, 2022, from 11 AM to 5 PM local time featuring Spheal, Shiny Spheal, Walrein will be able to learn the Charged Attack Icicle Spear, a new Special Research story The Spheal Deal, and many cool bonuses.

Niantic and Pokemon Go decided to surprise all the players, and announced that “as a special treat, they’ll be holding Community Day Classic and bringing back a favorite: Bulbasaur!”

That means there will be two Community Day events this month, one featuring Spheal and the other featuring Bulbasaur.

January 2022 Spheal Community Day

  • Start time: January 16, 2022, from 11 AM to 5 PM local time
  • Featured Pokemon: Spheal, can be shiny
  • Exclusive Attack: Walrein will learn the Charged Atacck Icicle Spear, and Fast Attack Powder Snow
  • Special Research Story The Spheal Deal for $1
  • Bonuses: 3x Catch XP, 3h Lures, 3h Incense, and Snapshot for a surprise
  • Bundles: There’ll be a special one-time-purchase Community Day Box available for 1,280 PokeCoins, featuring 50 Ultra Balls, five Super Incubators, five Lucky Eggs, and an Elite Fast TM. A bundle containing 30 Ultra Balls will be available in the shop at no cost. Be sure to pick them up during the event.

January 2022 Bulbasaur Community Day Classic

  • Start time: January 22, 2022, from 2 PM to 5 PM local time
  • Featured Pokemon: Bulbasaur, can be shiny
  • Exclusive Attack: Venusaur will learn the Charged Attack Frenzy Plant
  • Special Research Story Bulbasaur Community Day Classic for $1
  • Bonuses: 3x Catch XP, 3h Lures, 3h Incense, and Snapshot for a surprise
  • Bundles: There’ll be a special one-time-purchase Community Day Box available for 1,280 PokéCoins, featuring 50 Ultra Balls, five Lucky Eggs, five Star Pieces, and an Elite Charged TM. 30 Ultra Balls will be available in the shop at no cost. Be sure to pick them up during the event.
