Pokemon Go Adds Two New Bonuses for the A Valorous Hero Event
Trainers, the A Valorous Hero is a Team Valor-themed event, and the Team Valor Leader Candela needs our help.
A Valorous Hero runs from May 11-May 17, 2023. This event brings Mega Pinsir, Shiny Mega Pinsir, event-exclusive bonuses, and different Pokemon in one, three, five-star, and Mega Raids. Pokemon Go players can also complete new Special Research and Timed Research. Please have in mind that you can encounter Candela Ponyta only via Special Research.
Let’s get back to the topic and see what’s happening with the event-exclusive bonuses.
According to their official announcement, Pokemon Go players are getting only two bonuses for the event, 2x Catch Candy, and twice the chance to get Candy XL for catching Pokemon (Lvl31 and above). However, according to the in-game notification, Pokemon Go players are getting two new, additional bonuses; 2x Mysterious Components from Grunts, and up to two free Raid Passes daily by spinning Gym Photo Discs.
That said, here are the bonuses one can enjoy during the A Valorous Hero event.

- Trainers level 31 and above will have twice the chance to obtain Candy XL from catching Pokemon
- 2x Mysterious Components from Grunts
- Up to 2 free Raid Passes per day by spinning Gym Photo Discs
