Pokémon GO Fashion Week, Exploring potential Pokémon Unite crossover costumes

The Fashion Week 2023 event in Pokémon GO is drawing to a close, ending today, November 19, 2023, at 8 PM local time. This event brought us a chance to encounter and catch new costumed Pokémon, including Dragonite, Wooper, and Quagsire. Trainers had the opportunity to find some of these Pokémon in their shiny forms, while others are still waiting for their shiny debut.
However, there’s a common feeling among many in the Pokémon GO community that the current costumes are somewhat plain. That’s why PoGOCentral, a known Pokémon GO player and content creator from the UK, suggested a refreshing idea for future Fashion Weeks. Instead of the usual accessories like bows, ties, and hats, what if we could see costumes from Pokémon Unite in Pokémon GO?
Imagine catching a Charizard in its Bonfire Style, a Berry Style Snorlax, a fashionably dressed Sylveon, Mr. Mime in a magician outfit, a Marine-style Dragonite, a Sacred Style Gardevoir, a Bedtime Wigglypuff, and a Shrine-style Crustle. These designs from Pokémon Unite are far more exciting and visually appealing than the current offerings in Pokémon GO.

We currently have costumed Pokémon spawning everywhere, but what if, instead of a bow tie, we get an entire outfit? Pokémon Unite x Pokémon GO collab? ✨ pic.twitter.com/TcPfHCJPFm

A crossover event between Pokémon GO and Pokémon Unite, featuring these much better costumes, would be a fantastic step up. It’s something many Trainers would look forward to and would certainly add a fresh twist to the game. Here’s hoping that Pokémon GO will take inspiration from these ideas for the next costumed event, bringing more vibrancy and flair to our Pokémon-catching adventures.
