Xuan-Yuan Sword 7 Switch Version Postponed, New Release Coming Spring 2024

Not the news we all didn’t want to hear, but oh well, here we are, informing you daily.

Publisher eastasiasoft and developers Softstar Entertainment and DOMO Studio have jointly announced a delay in the release of the Nintendo Switch version of the action RPG, Xuan-Yuan Sword 7. Originally slated for a 2023 release, the game is now expected to launch in spring 2024. Despite the setback, the Switch version is in its final stages of development.

For the physical release of the game, Limited Editions will put additional items such as a manual, soundtrack CD, art book, and a numbered certificate all packaged in a collector’s box. Pre-orders for these editions will begin on December 22, 7:00 a.m. PT / 10:00 a.m. ET. Standard edition copies will also be available for open pre-orders.

Originally released for PC via Steam and PlayStation 4 in 2020, followed by launches in Japan and on Xbox One in 2021, Xuan-Yuan Sword 7 offers players an action RPG experience featuring real-time combat, vivid 3D visuals, and an engaging cinematic narrative. Set in ancient China, the game combines elements of history, mythology, and fantasy, presenting a world that seamlessly blends science and spirituality. Players assume the role of Taishi Zhao, a steadfast swordsman, on a quest to protect his family and unravel the mysteries threatening China under the rule of the new Xin Dynasty.

Well, we will try to get the copy, but will you? What do you think about this? Tell us in the comments below.
