Pokémon GO Team GO Rocket balloon spawn rates and schedule details

Trainers, the Raging Battles event is in full swing, and with it, Team GO Rocket is showing up more frequently at PokéStops and in balloons. So, how often will Team GO Rocket balloons be visible in the Pokémon GO sky during this event? Thanks to community reports, we’ve got the updated schedule for Team GO Rocket’s appearances, so feel free to check it below.

Team GO Rocket PokéStops change to a darker blue when spinning or turn black with red accents. Similar to the PokéStops, the balloons appear as floating items on the map. Engaging in battle with Team GO Rocket means facing off against Shadow Pokémon. If you win, you’ll get the chance to catch one of these Shadow Pokémon.

Now, for the Team GO Rocket balloon spawn rate during this event. Reports say balloons now appear every three hours. Here’s the breakdown of the schedule.

How often do Team GO Rocket Balloons Spawn?

  • 12 AM – 3 AM
  • 3 AM – 6 AM
  • 6 AM – 9 AM
  • 9 AM – 12 PM
  • 12 PM – 3 PM
  • 3 PM – 6 PM
  • 6 PM – 9 PM
  • 9 PM – 12 AM

This means you have a chance to encounter up to eight Team GO Rocket balloons each day during the event, compared to the normal rate of one balloon every six hours.
