Bug Out Spotlight Hour with three Pokémon spawning more often in Pokémon GO on April 16, 2024
The bugs are out here to take the world, but I am scared of them. What will I do?
As I am hiding into a box on April 16, 2024, there is a Spotlight Hour event scheduled to happen from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. local time. The featured Pokémon are bugs, and what is more interesting is that this particular Spotlight Hour in April 2024 is part of the ongoing event named Bug Out which began on April 12, 2024, and is ending on April 17, 2024.
If you noticed, I mentioned that the featured Pokémon are bugs (emphasis on the plural) and yes, there will be not one, but three Bug-type Pokémon. These Pocket Monsters are Caterpie, Weedle, and Wurmple. Plus, you will get a 2x Stardust for catching Pokémon, so get your PokéBalls ready and steady. Given that we are in the Bug Out event, you can also take advantage of those bonuses too.
To get the maximum out of this Spotlight Hour, you should have a Mega Pokémon that shares a type with the featured Pokémon, plus a Star Piece. Imagine the Stardust amount you will get.
Maybe, just maybe, you will encounter a Shiny Caterpie, Shiny Weedle and Shiny Wurmple.
