Pokémon GO Shiny Combee Odds Halfway Through the Bug Out Event
Trainers, the Bug Out event is currently active in Pokémon GO, and as one of the bonuses Niantic mentioned Shiny Combee. They said that the chances of encountering Shiny Combee will be increased during the event, so let’s see if that is the case.
The Bug Out started on April 12, 2024, and here we are, already on day three. The event runs until April 17, 2024, so make sure to take advantage of all the bonuses and rewards. Now, the Bug Out event has much to offer, from Pokémon with increased shiny chances, different Raid Bosses in one, three, five-star, and Mega Raids, to new Field Research tasks and four Collection Challenges.
One of the many interesting things that was officially announced on the Pokémon GO website, is Shiny Combee, and the increased chance to encounter this Pokémon.
Combee is a dual-type Bug/Flying Pokémon from Gen 4. This Pokémon has two variants, male and female, both of which can be shiny. That being said, let’s see what are the chances to encounter Shiny Combee.
Shiny Combee Odds
Combee and Shiny Combee can only be encountered in the wild. The chances of encountering Shiny Combee are 1 in 64. These odds are nothing to brag about, but they are better than 1 in 128, or 1 in 256.
Now, if you are lucky, you will get it in the first encounter. Our luck seems to have run out a long time ago, and we still haven’t caught a Shiny Combee.
What is the situation with you? Did you catch Shiny Combee and increase your “Shiny Pokemon” list? We would like to hear from you, so please let us know in the comments below.
