Pokémon GO September Community Day Classic event featuring Charmander

A certain lizard is days away from torpedoing the Pokémon GO map, and we are more than excited for its arrival.

Starting September 2nd, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. and ending at 5:00 p.m. Trainers will have the chance to catch the Lizard Pokémon, otherwise known as Charmander as part of the September 2023 Community Day Classic: Charmander event.

If you evolve Charmeleon (Charmander’s middle brother) during the event or two hours after its end, you will be getting a Charizard with a Fast Attack Dragon Breath and Charged Attack Blast Burn.

As with every event in the game, there will be Community Day Classic-themed Field Research, where the rewards will range from encounters with Charmander to Charizard Mega Energy and Stardust.

If you want to go even further, there will be a Community Day Classic Special Research story for $1, as well as free Timed Research with Charizard Mega Energy as a reward upon completion.

The bonuses that will be active during the September 2023 Community Day Classic: Charmander are:

  • 3x Stardust for catching Pokémon
  • Lure Modules activated during the event will last for three hours
  • Incense activated during the event will have a duration of three hours
  • Snapshots for a surprise

What do you think about the event? Do you like it?
