Bulletstorm VR launch postponed to next year, new release date is set for January 18

Today has been a great day in the gaming community, but sometimes, there has to be news that is not so good.

People Can Fly and Incuvo have officially announced the delay of Bulletstorm VR to January 18, 2024. Once it launches, it will be available on PlayStation VR2, PC (via Steam), and Quest.

Here are a few words coming from People Can Fly regarding the delay of the game:

“People Can Fly and Incuvo have made the tough decision to delay the release of Bulletstorm VR to January 18, 2024.

We know that Bulletstorm fans are eager to put on their VR headsets and kick a** in virtual reality. We aim to use this extra time to continue improving the experience to ensure that Bulletstorm VR lives up to the high standards you’ve come to expect from the well-known AAA first-person shooter franchise and People Can Fly as a developer of high-quality AAA games.

We are incredibly thankful to our fans for their support and passion surrounding the Bulletstorm series and deeply appreciate everyone’s patience.

Thank you.”

Bulletstorm VR puts players into the boots of Grayson Hunt, an exiled member of the elite Dead Echo assassin group, facing a stark choice between survival and revenge. After a crash landing on a deserted resort planet, Grayson’s quest for vengeance unfolds on Stygia, where he must confront the betrayer or secure his crew’s escape.

Bulletstorm VR promises an immersive experience with key features like battling raiders and colossal beasts, seamlessly switching between melee and ranged combat, and leveraging the Energy Leash in the virtual reality space. Explore the unique sci-fi arsenal firsthand, controlling bullets mid-air for skillful takedowns.
