Escape From Tarkov Arena is getting a wipe with patch 0.1.5

February 28 is the day when Arena players will start fresh.

Escape From Tarkov Arena will be getting a new update that will wipe the database and allow players to start anew. Player ARP (ranking) will also be reset, including the player progression. As per the revealed information by Battlestate Games, many things are coming with the update on February 28.

First, there will be a new and improved preset tier system for players to enjoy. We now finally know why Battlestate Games pushed an event in the game and gave away tons of roubles to players. We estimated that there would be a wipe, and it truly happened.

The image revealing some of the features coming with the patch can be found below. Previously, Battlestate Games said players can link their PMC characters in Q1 of 2024, but that doesn’t seem possible per the revealed image.

Overall, there will be plenty of improvements, and we cannot wait to see the full patch notes, which will most likely be revealed when the patch lands.

The developer has also revealed a teaser revealing new skins, which seem to me like microtransaction ones.

I am ANGE1K. I started playing video games a long time ago. In a blink of an eye, I became a hardcore gamer. A couple of years later, I traversed to the professional Counter-Strike 1.6 scene. After the competitive ERA, I managed to find the gaming industry amusing and started working on FGR. 8 years after founding FGR, my mission remains the same. That is to discover secrets within the gaming industry, create guides for all the games I play, and provide you with some important news. Oh, yeah, I post tons of patch notes too. At the time, I play everything that seems reasonable to play, make content about it and help gamers to the best of my abilities. P.S. Last time I counted how many hours I've spent in video games turned out to be 13+ years. And that was a long time ago too. Almost 24/7 in front of PC.
